NEWBORN
There is no stage more fleeting than the Newborn stage. Being at home with your new little person for those first couple of weeks feels surreal. Life is put on pause and you are taking in a new rhythm of life with this very small very vulnerable child. They are nearly always in your arms and under your gaze. I swear if I close my eyes and remember that time I can feel the weight of my babies’ little bodies on my chest. This was one of the greatest sensations I have ever experienced.
